Hi, listener and safa,


i am from Lahore and applied in oct 2010, and my status is RVO (London)..i think that we have same problems like i have done M.Phil from PU and claimed uncle points as blood relative..He provided all necessary documents to me from Canada (as he has citizenship of Canada) but he is now residing in USA..


i am very confused and need some good suggestions that how much points VO will give me..

i have total points ( Edu 25 + Exp 21 + age 10 + Ielts 8 + 5 uncle and 3 wife)= total are 72..

moreover,if VO cut 5 points of ur relative ,u still elligible for process bc without that 5 points ur marks r 67 and its ok,so don't u worry

Thanks brothers for your kind information. As far as my data is concern i applied in 2121 category as a M. biologist. My file reached there on 27-10-10. I got e.mail from CIC on 16 Feb, 11, since then my status show RVO..

its mean u people are sure that i will be awarded 67 points and get 25 points of my M.Phil..

My file starts from "E".. i know a person who applied in Aug, 10 and he has sent his medical two weeks ago..i think u r rite "some where some one" that i am near to listen any good news..it is also a chance that people get the med with verification..


anyhow hope for the best..

it all depends upon the understanding of the VO .... if he understands from ur documentation that u have M.Phil...he will award u 25 points ...... sometimes they mistakenly think that u have two Masters and award u 22 points .........

what u can do now is just relax ............. god forbidden if anything (NER) is issued by the VO then just get a letter from the registrar of ur university stating that u have 18 years of education (i will send u the format if time comes ... dont worry abt that)

whatever the case may be but u will surly get 25 points for education ;D

Well a very strange case.

did they mentioned any File no. on their email? are you able to check your ECAS online?
did they mentioned that you have passed positive final determination for canadian immigration eligibility?

please share ur details for tracker.

btw its very lucky to have orignal documents back.

There is no application number or anything like it on the letter they have MAILED me.I cannot check my Ecas status as I donot have any tracking number or refference number.

They have sent only a couple of originals back after 15 days of recieving my application file. and I m still waiting for my application number or PER thing . On the letter they have suggested me to go to the nearest Visa office for furthur information on this matter .please advice me what to do??
