Alhamdulillah Got my MR dated 17 Aug, 2012 through normal mail day b4 yesterday, for me and my wife. Its a big relief.

We haven't received the MR for my new born daughter, though I updated the Vo earlier. I think bcz we didnt send the passport copies and forms for her. I have sent a query to the Vo Yesterday.

your case resembles to many of us. Keep us posted upon their reply because the MR of your new born, if issued later, will expire with yours. This is a little issue.

I have thought to send the additional docs i.e. PCCs & RPRF

with requested updated forms

Permanent Residence IMM0008 form
New Schedule A Background/Declaration form
New Additional Family Info form IMM5406

ASAP (with the PP copies of ma daughter, as I haven't sent it yet)

and not to perform our medical till we get the MR for my daughter, Inshallah!

N.B: (I dont have my wife and baby accompanying me in the application)

Once I receive MR for my daughter, we will go for the Medicals...

I would appreciate your suggestions, please.

I dont have any $ account in Pak, and I am out of country now. I want my friend to send it for me.

I also want to do it in a way that I can track the encashment of this fee later on.

Hi, you can make a bank draft from foreign currency branch of any bank in Isb/Lhr/Kci. Just send your friend there, there is no need to have foreign currency account, they will charge you Rs 1500 for making the bank draft to Receiver General of Canada and Rs 1 per Can $ above market rate for the number of Can $ for which you are making the draft.
You will face no problem, since foreign currency branches make such drafts to Receiver General of Canada everyday and they earn their commission too this way
I did the same from HBL Foreign Currency branch in Nursery Karachi and was able to track it too later after calling the branch on telephone.

Congrats Nashe_31 for your MR Insh'Allah You will get PPR soon and I am also praying for all members. I also got Add Doc Request yesterday Al hamdulilha To morrow I will start the processing for PCC. I have query to all senior members that since age of 18 I lived in four cities, Do I need PCC
for all cities or should 1 is sufficient from present city where I am living since 2005. Urgent reply from members will be appreciated.
