how they verify educational documents? by sending directly to institutes?

dear they have hired special agencies in pakistan to verify educational transcripts / birth certificates / job letters, bank statements etc....every one goes thru this phase...

to be sure u can always check with ur university if u have some source in there if they verified ur transcripts....

Many countries like US, UK Canada etc have bilateral/multilateral agreements with Govt. of Pak regarding info sharing on immigration and border controls. These agreements entitle a foreign mission/embassy to have restricted/viewable access to number of our records/databases.
E.g. In case of Pakistan.... US, Canadian and all European embassies have access to search and view NADRA’s main database of registration, passport and immigration control. Similarly they also have an agreement with HEC for Reg. and degree award verification records.
That facilitates them a lot while they are sitting in Islamabad embassy in or anywhere in the world. Plus in case of CHC Islamabad, they have a special desk for LND office which facilitates and answer all LVO queries where physical verification is required within Pakistan.
I know these things coz in beginning of my career I worked as a consultant for legal rights and information control in public sector for three years.
Hope it helps in getting some idea of this complicated process.

if that is the case why they ask for travel history while they can view that from immigration data base...?

mostly people have said they have special hired agencies in pakistan who verify credentials and other documents...check the following post where some one has said her husband worked for embassy... and has the following information..

i dont know exectly about this all

my husband is working in one of the embassies in islamabad
he called with a reference to CHC Islamabad to boost up the case
they told him that
once we will get new immigration file #
file will be transfer for verification to CHC pakistan
and afterwards they can help us
they further told us
that due to lack of staff they cant process in fast track
due to security risk they cant hire local staff
thats y they transfer cases to london where
administrative decisions will be made
while CHC islamabad will continue to work on cases and
no doubt for verification of documents they have locally hired companies
who do the needful

ofcourse there can be more than one opinion on understanding any issue and I always prefer not to take a position on a general public forum.
I have shared what I have worked/experienced by myself and if it does not fit in anybody’s logic/updated knowledge I would strongly suggest ignoring it altogether -Best

I sent my completed application form to the London Office in September-2010 but still my E-CAS showing a single line as appended below:


We received your application for permanent residence on March 22, 2010.

Till todate I am visiting the ECAS and the above message appears.

Please let me know:-
Why my Immigration file number has been changed?
Why I have not yet recieved 2nd AOR?

How I can change my telephone number which are changed now???

What is my current status of application if it is not updated on E-CAS???


AM I REJECTED?

Send London Visa office an email, to inquire about the current status of ur application....
About change of file number, any senior may guide u, I know that, when my file was at CIO stage, it had E00000 file no. but after it got received by the VO, it was changed to B0000, that's opposite in ur case.

I think u should contact the Vo at once through Email. London-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

Dear All,

I find this forum very helpful and I would like to request all my seniors here to advice me regarding my query.

I am MI-2 applicant from PK. I have done my medical in Nov 2011 and its about 6-7 months already passed but didn't got PPR till yet. can u please suggest me, how long it will take further to complete all background check and to get PPR.

Second thing, I am principle applicant living in PK but my spouse lives in UK. To my knowledge all pakistani applicant recieve PPR 1 first (Passport copies + photos etc) then PPR 2(original passports) as pakistani applicant are not allowed to send passport outside pakistan , whether the same thing applies to my spouse as he lives in UK or not I know Visa Office sends PPR via email but If anyone can advice me ,how visa office will send PPR to me and my spouse and how VO will ask to submit passport from us as we both lives at different countries rite now.

hi, frnds i landed safely on Vancouver B.C on 7 May . I got my tickets in a very cheap rates 76 thousand per ticket and it is frm lahore to dubai to london to vancouver it take 26 hours with 2 hour stay at dubai and 3 hour stay at london .There is only simple questions on immigration section at vancouver like how much currency do you have like these. The Weather out their is so good . I done my security course and I got 83% .
