you need to find that out yourself, fill in the online registration and if they see that your profile could match current or future internship positions they will schedule a skype screening interview and once successful - your application will be approved..only then you'll be able to view and apply for internship positions.

It seems that you need to have a Canadian Degree not a diploma

FYI - you need to be a permanent resident to qualify for this program. International students aren't accepted.

Even though I meet the eligibility criteria when I filled in the application form they replied that I didn't meet criteria. Since then, have not bothered with it. Its probably made up bullcrap.

It's just waste of time. Its better they declare requirements in advance before letting us fill the application. Waste of time.

It's not bullcrap. That being said I graduated in 1999 (they have been around since then) and was applying until 2005 and never got a single reply. I do have one of them useless Canadian degrees.

Please do remember. Job market in Canada is T O U G H

I personally know 2 people (new immigrants who landed in the past 6 months), one got 1 year internship and the other got 7 months - both were with very respectable Canadian companies.

Its up to you to believe its useless or not, but at least in my view - i believe that it works...but of-course its very competitive as well, the only difference between a career-edge internship and a standard job application is that you will be competing against immigrants only (sometimes against local graduates too depending on the position).

Anyone took their short video Interview on the way to finish the Registration?
What the questions they ask? I am in Applied Science and Tech field.

you can expect 2 to 3 typical behavioral interview questions - nothing technical.

Basically, all you do is gather an intelligence (personal information of individual job seekers) , and you request that information as a precondition to allow people see what jobs are posted out there.

Anyone who knows how to utilize Google and navigate online job search engines can find those jobs without providing their personal information to a third party which collects it for unknown purposes.

My 2 cents.

Wow...Thanks for the info. Appreciate the help. +1 for you. :)

This is a Legit company.

What have you got to lose for applying? It's a great way to launch your career if you have been in Canada for less than 3 years then you are eligible to apply for the internship program.

You don't need a Canada degree as your degree from your home country is enough and once you get through the interview screening they send you a link that you visit to assess your qualifications to see if it is recognized in Canada.

I Landed in Canada mid last year got my first job which was a Internship through Career Edge and that was for the Government which I landed a permanent position if anyone knows its ridiculously hard to land even a contract in the government. So a internship is a bonus because it's a great way to launch your career and get "Canadian Experience".

I would highly advise anyone to apply for it as I'm truly happy that I did and I'm now living very comfortably here now. I've met a few interns while here as Career Edge recruit interns for government positions that start in July.

GO FOR IT!
