For Filipinos who got their PR visa already, you have an option to withdraw your Pagibig contributions. Just go to the nearest Pagibig Help Desk in your area to get a printout of all your contributions available for you:)

Hi Ramcal,

One may continue with the membership if he wishes. Contribution withdrawal is just an option for those who want their money back provided they don't have any obligations like loan with Pagibig.

Pag-IBIG Fund guarantees the refund of member's total accumulated savings (TAV), which consists of the member's accumulated contributions, the employer counterpart contributions, if any, and the dividend earnings credited to the member's account upon occurrence of "Permanent departure from the country".

So long as you don't have obligations to pay, yes you can withdraw your contributions to the last peso. They will require you to provide a proof that you are leaving the country permanently. If you are considering this and will be leaving soon, you might as well get in touch with them to give you time to produce requirements...no maturity for your earnings if you are migrating. :)

Question: I just filed my resignation effective August 31. All my loans from PAGIBI and SSS were settled by our company, deducted from my final pay. The payment will be posted by October, as per our Finance. My flight is Sept 23. Yung withdrawal po ba pwedeng after 2 yrs or so? Di naman kaya mawala account ko since di na mahuhulugan? PAGIBIG po pala plan ko idiscontinue.
