Anybody knows the current status of the strike?

Does the strike only delay work permit processing or does it also affect LMO processing time?

Many thanks for any advice.

Can anyone of u please tell me when this PAFSO strike will end? M having job offer with hrsdc n lmo approval, waiting for the strike to come to end, to apply for WP? Should I apply for it now? N in how much time the CIC give me response or acknowledgement of my application? This PAFSO strike is making me mad Pls guide what should I do?

In short, strike is still going on. PAFSO has filed bad faith complaint to PSLRB and PSLRB will review their case and set a date for Arbitration, as per PAFSO they may get response from PSLRB this week. Lets wait till coming Monday 12th August.

But does the strike affect LMO processing time? I believe PAFSO only process work permits and not LMO?

From what I heard , Yes Strike tshould not impact LMO

Hello everybody, quick question: We did our medical exams in Argentina last July 24th (after 19 months waiting for nomination from SINP) and still didn't hear anything from the Embassy. At the medical office they said that everything went fine and they sent the results to Otawa already. Does anybody know if the strike could be the reason for our WP process to keep moving forward?
Thank you in advance!
