Canadian Foreign Service Officers to Picket the Prime Minister’s Office to Protest Government's Rejection of Binding Arbitration

In their 18th week of job action, Canadian Foreign Service Officers in Ottawa will hold a mass picket outside the Prime Minister’s Office (Langevin Block) at 80 Wellington Street on Tuesday, July 30th from 11:30am to 1:30pm to show their profound disappointment at the Government's refusal to enter into binding arbitration to resolve this labour dispute.

Guys if you are concerned about the delays and the strike - perhaps you may want to give momentum to our voice. I personally think that so far Canadian media has not really touched the plight of many of us who might be in a limbo cuz of this strike. So please - let's join on one platform to inform them how badly it is impacting us. We are based in Toronto/Ottawa and are willing to stage protests infront of CIC office if we gather enough support.

With PAFSO and Treasury Board blaming each other for bad faith bargaining, I really don't know where this goes next. #dipstrike #cdnpoli

@MichelleZilio Like I have been saying all along it's an ego war now. Hope they can put the past behind them and resolve the #dipstrike

I am stuck in a similar situation as you guys. hence on the same page, applied on 30th july under SPP.
I applied through an agent who is reputed and told me that they are getting visa for students. Canadian office has few Indians working which contributes to 30% of their staff and they are not on strike. hence Visa are being issued though the rate is quite slow.

i am not sure if that is to console me or true. But what ever it is I hope that we all get our visa by 15th max.

I was told the same by my Agent and as per the research which I did to gather some information if there will be any activity during the Strike in Delhi...

Hope that is true and hoping to get it max by 15th...
