Package returned: need assistance

Hey all,
So my package was returned due to a missing IMM 5406 form.

2 questions:
1) Sponsor and applicant need to do this form? Just ensuring?
2) Am I able to send back my package as is? Just add the IMM 5406 form, as well as the denial/ rejection letter from immigration stating what was missing, and the error has been fixed? Or do I need to update everything? My document was originally sent Oct 4, received Oct 14, and just sent back this week.

1) The form is meant for just the principal applicant. So just the applicant fills the form.
(2) when my application was returned, I refilled the entire forms again, and I got AOR. However you can still update the IMM 5406 with what they wanted you to change or fill correctly and send to them.

Did you update everything? Pictures? Police check? etc? Or just the forms?
 
Yeah. I updated my police report since it was valid for just 3 months. For the pictures, I added 2 recent pictures of my spouse and me. I made update to the forms because I wanted the date I signed the signature to be recent.

Oh the police check is only good for 3 months? Does it say that in the guide? I didn't see that ....

PCC is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. don't sent the application pack as it is some forms were updated in November 2018 so, you will need to update those forms.
 
As mentioned you need to submit the most updated forms if not they will return them again.

did u have to get back in que again and rewait for the aor or was it a shorter time period the 2nd time around?

Do you know if you have to resubmit payment? I've read some things that people have been refunded, and didn't even realize. Do we have to repay?

No. you dont repay. You just resubmit the same receipt you used with the application originally. To get a refund, you have to request it, so not sure how they recieved their refund without requesting it. Hope this helps.
