Package being sent to Mexico for further processing

hello, I have a question. Does anyone why or if it’s part of the process that they send the application to Mexico for further processing. I’m in Canada and my husband is in Brazil and we have been waiting about 7 months now.

It is being transferred to Mexico so that your husband's (principal applicant) part of the application can be processed.
