Hi , i came to manitoba 5 months ago under the pnp program.
I have applied for permanent residency but my question is , Can I leave my current employer and return to the uk whilst waiting for my permanent residency to be approved.

As far as I know, Canadian PR application is not tied to company as your company is not sponsoring your PR. I had applied for QSW on my last day at work.

It depends, under which substream of MPNP are you applying? I imagine you applied as an inland applicant, did you need to show proof of permanent employment? If so, then if you leave you no longer qualify for that substream.
