Hello Everyone,

I am and EIT member with APEGA and planning to appear in NPPE exam in a couple of months. I have not started preparing for the exam yet. Has anyone on this forum recently appeared in the exam and can guide me through the process. I will also appreciate if anyone can direct/share useful study material in order to prepare for the exam.

Thanks,
Hi Mario,
Are you an international applicant?
Did you need to write any confirmatory exam to become a registered EIT?

I have an international graduate degree. I also did my post graduation in Canada. I wasn't assigned any confirmatory exam.

Once the board approved my application, I received an email from them confirming the same and that I needed to pass the Sept 2018 NPPE exam (I had already registered before the decision), I will get my P.Eng registration in few weeks.

I got my P.Eng confirmation email next day after I got the exam results.

Sorry, I didnt answer your question previously.

I did not get any provisional license after board approval. I don't think they give that for pending NPPE exam. I was given 4 attempts to pass the exam in 1 year after which my application would be cancelled and I would have to apply again from start. Provisional license is only given if you don't have 1 year of Canadian experience.

Congrats. Hope all of us hear good news soon

How long does the internal review stage takes. My application has been in internal review from last couple of months.

My academic review took 2 weeks....Was there any problems with WES Course-Course evaluation?
I was also wondering why it is taking this much time. I checked with the application coordinator and they didn't give any good response. Only thing they confirmed is that they have received the WES course by course report. My bachelors and masters degree is from India. Can I know from where was your degrees from.

i wonder why my academic review is taking so long... it has been over 5 months in the academic review stage.. :(

HI Issac,
My application stage is also in the academic review for long time. Can you update your status regarding the application.
