OWP work experience points - Secondary applicant

Friends,

My spouse has a closed WP. So I was trying to find out if I can claim 5 points for 1 year Canadian work experience on OWP in our express entry profile.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I did check my points and I get extra 5 points for 1 year Canadian experience as a secondary applicant if I include that experience. But I wanted to confirm what is the documentation needed to claim those 5 extra points. Is there any specific requirement to claim those 5 extra points?

They will ask both of you to provide a proof of work experience letter for every work that gives you points.
