OWP Fees for Convention Refugee

Hello,

I have received a positive decision on my refugee claim and applied for PR.

I am submitting an application to extend my OWP and was under the impression that I need to pay some fees since I am no longer a claimant. However, it shows online that application fee is $0. Am I missing something or it is actually free to extend the OWP?

I don’t think you need to pay for renewal of work permit since your case has been accepted. A friend of mine in a similar situation didn’t pay for renewal of work permit.
 
as long as you are a protected person or refugee claimant, you don't need to pay anything

You are absolute right, zero fee. Treat yourself nice dinner... but get ready for medical exam fee when time comes

How long it takes to received your WP by mail after the email confirming it has been sent? I have received an email confirming it has been sent by mail since February 2nd and I haven’t received it yet.

For me it took about 3 weeks. I hope yours is soon.
