hi! I've applied January 7, 2012 and just nothing! I don't check either. I think I just have to wait.....
 
called CIC today. they're opening applications received December 08.. hoping for some good news next week.

I'm planning to apply for PR/OWP hopefully soon.
However, I have some problems regarding required documents.
Is anyone know about social assistance payment? I've got this by my employer as I'm looking after a disabled adult.
I'm very worried if I'm still eligible to apply...

Applied my Open/PR application last Dec 2011.
Received my Open work permit last Feb 13, 2012 but there's nothing
on my Ecas yet, still it doesn't show anything up to now.

What is shown ,when you call hot line 1 2 7 ?

wow.. congrats you receive already your open work permit .. im also dec2011 applicant but still im waiting,, no updates in e-cas and even in 127.. :(

when in December did you mailed your application?? im just wondering coz I mailed mine December 11 and no updates yet..

Hi Aman82,

When I phoned 127, the automated machine informed me that my work permit has been approved and issued.
Hope you'll receive yours too and for all LIC waiting for their open. Good luck and God bless everyone!!

I sent it last Dec 14, 2011 and they received it on Dec 16, 2011.

i am getting sad now i applied in september last year and i havent recieved anything even an open work permit
