I would like to ask for your opinion regarding this issue please.
I've know this individual for quit a while already and she's out of status for a year, immigration called her and ask her to go back home but she lied and told them that passport is in process of renewal, she's taking advantage of this situation that immigration is aware of her reason, meanwhile she's applying for a humanitarian right now and using her son who is a canadian citizen but residing in the Philippines for that application at the same time she found an old guy who is a canadian citizen and agreed to be with him and apply her as a common law partner.
Like can she really do all this things? And why is it our immigration system so slow in dealing with this people.
I even gave them all the information about her even where she lives but up to this time nothing is being done about it.

If you believe she is committing fraud, you can report her to CIC here:

I already did that but nothing is being done, it looks like she can escape with her overstaying status with what she's doing right know.

It's quite possible something is being done and the person you reported is being investigated. These things don't happen overnight - the investigations take month. The investigations are also confidential and you will not be notified if an investigation is taking place or the results of that investigation. If you've reported the fraud - then you've done your part.

But do you think she will be able to escape with her situation? She's doing everything she can to stay, if she will apply any of this humanitarian or common law application is there any chance at all?
One more question please............ I provided CBSA with her present address but in 3 weeks time she will be moving to another place in order for her not to be traced with the authorities what is the best thing to tell CBSA so they will be aware of it?
