OVERSTAYED WORK VISA

Hey just looking fo some answers there doesnt seem to be a straight answer on any forums.
So I overstayed my working holiday visa by a week, i had concluded work before the visa expired and just took a few extra days to pack up my things before returning to australia. Is there a 'grace period' after your visa expires or do you need to be out on the day?
Again didnt work after the visa expired was just there packing up, i ask because I am applying for another working holiday visa, its been 12 months since the last visa expired. Anyone have the answer or experienced something similar or stayed after their visa was expired?

The answer is Yes.. I was just approved for my whv. So overstay for a resonable period will not affect you getting a visa.

Wow, nobody responded. That sucked. I'm just seeing this thread for the first time. Glad to hear that you got your answers though. Yes, there's a grace period. Canada doesn't seem to be jackbooted and draconian about reasonable overstays.
