Overstay can caz problems for pgwp?

Was in canada from 2013.graduated april 2015.permit expired 2016..did not leave canada until 20months later. Didnt apply for pgwp.didnt work at all..Officer warned about overstaying when leaving...want to apply for another study permit to certify same program that graduated from in 2015. Would overstaying cause problems?If study permit approved would pgwp be 3yrs? Or would overstaying caz permit to be denied?

What do you mean by "certify same program that graduated from in 2015"?

I'm still not really sure what you mean. If you want to come to Canada and just take a few courses, you won't qualify for a PGWP. You completed your studies too long ago to get a PGWP for the program you completed in 2015.

To qualify for a PGWP, you must come to Canada and complete a different full time program that is at least eight months in length. If you complete an eight month program - you will get an 8 month PGWP. If you want a 3 year PGWP, you have to come to Canada and study for two more years and complete a new program.
