If you are in pilot program, would be great to always lead with that. Cheers. We can avoid a lot of confusion and anxiety that way.

How long does it take for dependants to go for biometrics and medicals after they’ve submitted the requested information (imm 0008)(imm 5669)(imm 5562)(imm 5406) proof of relationship and paid for biometrics

I don’t think there’s any specific timeline as long as IRCC is still within the general timeline for the In-Canada applicant. Has the principal applicant been issued a PR?

Yes you are in pilot and according to government they said 1 year reunification period

I guess they must be waiting for our stuff to get done coz he applied at once how does it work anyway
IRCC has its own work to do; eligibility, background/security checks etc. They will surely get back to you. There are some other factors behind the scene like manpower, other pathways and staff dedication. Just keep the faith.

Does he have to first get PR then our things start to be worked on
Not necessarily. If you’re in a pilot program as pointed out, both his file and yours will be worked on simultaneously. Otherwise, his will be finalized and yours will follow with a 12 month timeline to be done.
