My wife applied for PR for me i am in UAE the data as below.

How much current time from protected to PR status and for me is any different process? can someone help me.

I just discovered, to my surprise & shock, that the processing time for dependents of protected persons is 43months.
Who knows when they start counting the processing time?

Is this for sure? from where you got this number if u don't mind me asking
As per my understandig and from explanation on official websites... It starts the day a complete application is received.
but CAS shows 2 different dates with bug gap.
mine:
- We received your application for permanent residence on February 17, 2021.
- We started processing your application on October 20, 2021.
This is why I am asking there is 9 months difference in my submission and start processing date and this makes a difference for someone who has been waiting for too long, and we are unable to find a specific answer how longer will it take. Goodluck
I got it by checking processing time on the CIC website. You can verify by checking the processing time of “dependents of protected persons”.
The explanation is that processing time starts when a complete application package is received by IRCC.
