over staying 6 month visit

My visa has just recently been received by cic and im debating applying for visa extention or just flying back home to the states and returning in 2-4 weeks,

Can anyone predict me running into issues with my Visa by leaving Canada after having been here longer then 6 months? currently 40 days into my 90 day grace period for being late with visitor extention application.

The 90 days isn't really a grace period. It's a period where a person who is without status in Canada is allowed to attempt to restore their status. If you're going to try this - applying for an extension alone won't do it. You also have to apply to restore your status at the same time.

When you say "my visa has just recently been received by cic" - I assume you mean your PR application? Did you apply inland or outland?

i applied outland. ive just been visiting my husband in canada a lot, for a long periods at a time.
