Hey..we have overpaid amount of RPRF for canada(550 CAD for every member) and we don't know what to do?
can anyone tell what to do?

What made you say you overpaid? Do you actually mean, you mistakenly put wrong number of people in the payment transaction? If yes, then write to CIC and notify them what happened and seek advise how to get it back the amount you mistakenly credited in excess to what you supposedly need to pay

Inadvertently i've paid fee for applicant,spouse,daughter(23 yrs),son(20 yrs),in shape of Demand Draft amounting INR(27200 x 4=108800) equal to CAD 550 x 4.
Please inform the correct RPRF in my case(Manitoba PNP) applicant is in India.

From what i know RPRF cost $Cad490 each for principal applicant and spouse. No need to pay for dependents children, but if your children already graduated in college and are ready to work not sure if they need to pay too.

Anyway a portion of it will be refunded by govt of Canada to help new immigrants, if you feel you overpaid you can present your receipt at a later time and can refund it for sure

Thank You Sir For Replying Our Question.
please clarify will overpaid delay our processing or not?
BTW They have received our Medical Results.

If you overpaid, CIC will refund you in full. It will have no effect on the app.

Thank you for replying our question.
Sir Does it mean that either they will return the previous demand draft and will demand the new demand draft for exact amount,or they will refund the amount paid in excess by us,while retaining the RPRF?

I think they will return back excess to you, including the refund from the $C490 that CIC promised to return back to help new immigrants.. For now, its better to send email to CIC sharing them what happened so that they will notify you how you can get your money back. Always keep the copy of the receipt with you

Thank you sir.
But is there any effect on our application?will it be delayed or not?

And if we not send any email to them, will they proceed or not?

Hiya,

Please are you saying CIC will refund the $C490 paid back to us or part of it.

Please can you send the link to this policy if possible.

Thanks.

CIC does not refund the RPRF unless the PR application is cancelled. You will receive a refund for the excess you paid and that's it.

@ thread starter, did you mean to say you paid for RPRF of $490?
because you also mentioned $550 fee, and this is totally different from RPRF. this is the CIC PR application fee.
RPRF is usually requested for visa stamping.
the application fee is also $150 for dependent children

Thank you,
we've already paid application fee when we applied.
so,is there need to write letter to then or they will send us themselves?we have receive no notice about wrong fee.
is there any delay in application?
suggest us.
