dear all i redo my medical test and my police record the 3 of june, that mean i have over a month no respond, that is normal??my application take so long, its over than 14 months now from the first day i sent my application pls help what i can do

What's your visa office? Some of them take up to 25 months so your timeline might be normal.

we did police checks and didn't hear back for 6 months about it. medicals were done a 2nd time and didn't hear back for 3 months, so just more waiting unfortunately. but it does depend very much on your VO - some are much quicker than others because they have more staff.

Need some inforo

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum, I have a question please assist. I got my first stage approval and therefore I have my open work permit. Can someone give me an idea as to how long it would take to finalize my application. I sent my application in June 2011 to Vegerville. I am aware they said it would take about 8 months. It is now about 3 months, do you think I might hear from them sooner. This is such a long wait :(

Okay. First of all, that *blank* months doesn't start the day they get it at CIC-M, it starts the day they get it in Paris. When did they get it in Paris? The average time is 8 months. So if you got spousal approval in say Sept 11, May 12 would be the average timeline. Does that make sense? If it's over the 8 months, I'd call CIC.

Okay then you do have cause to call CIC, that'd what I'd do. They might have something on their computers showing what's up. Good luck!
