Hi. I made an account here just to try and get some help with my current situation.
I applied for a PR card via spousal sponsorship, it has been over 6 months since my application was received. The only time I have been contacted by CIC was shortly afterwards as they needed a new form to be submitted that was not originally required.

Ever since, I haven't heard anything. When I check my account (GCKey login) it still just says "we are processing your application".

I have submitted 2 separate IRCC webforms asking for assistance as I have waited well over the expected processing times + the 6 weeks mentioned
(As seen here, after selecting 'PR card' and 'No': http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp)

All other attempts to contact them for help have failed. If anyone has experience with this I would appreciate any help whatsoever. I'm at a loss.

you're still below the 1 year processing time. so no need to worry. i would contact your local visa office after the 1 year processing time.

How have you exceeded processing times? The target is 12 months.

This is completely normal -- we went from July 2017 to March 2018 with hearing absolutely NOTHING until we got PPR... beyond normal.

The processing time you have mentioned is for people who are ALREADY PRs.

Are you already a PR or are you waitng to become a PR?
