for some reason, I don't trust the story someone told someone when there's no proof at all.
You say someone got certificate outside Canada, I say they're getting their junk mail delivered.

she is from Georgia eastern europe. the reason was they moved to live in that country for a while.

So they mail citizenship certificate overseas?

It is indeed possible to take the Oath from outside of Canada. But they have to reschedule your date because they have to evaluate your case. So it’s up to you to decide what you want. They also said that it might take up to 6 months to receive the certificate because it’s outside the country(this doesn’t pertain to people in the US).

Was she rescheduled much later? Did it take months before she could receive her certificate?
