Hi Guys,

Im outland uk citizen being sponsored my my Canadian wife. The visa process is supposed to be done in ten weeks but as my case is still stuck in BGC and hasn't been transferred to my LVO im starting to see that its going to take a little longer than that.

I have been offered a job within a company in Toronto and was wondering now that I have a job offer is there any way that I can apply for a work permit and move to Canada until the visa process is completed?

No, not unless you qualify independently through an economic stream, but you'd never get a work permit in time anyway.

Employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.
