My wife and I have been living in the US for the past decade. We're going to be moving to Montreal in a month. My wife is a Canadian citizen that will be sponsoring me. I have a question about outland vs. inland timelines and I'm having a really hard time trying to parse all the information I'm seeing.
I'm trying to figure out which two options would allow me to look for work the quickest.
1. We apply for outland spousal sponsorship right now.
2. We wait until we arrive in Quebec and apply for inland sponsorship and OWP at the same time.
Based on what I'm seeing, it sounds like our best bet would be to apply for inland sponsorship after we got in to Canada, but I'm not entirely sure if that's correct. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
