Hi all,

I have completed my application and I am ready to send off.

i am confused about where to submit the application. My husband and I are both living in the UK.

I emailed the high commission a year ago and they said to submit the application to them - i emailed again to verify and now they are saying check the website/ send it to the Mississauga processing centre.

However The website says:

Application for spouses, common-law partners or conjugal partners currently living outside Canada and all dependent child sponsorships:
Case Processing Centre - Sydney
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

I am also submitting my child's Canadian citizenship papers - it says online to submit to the commission.

Can anyone verify where they have sent the spousal application to when both sponsor and applicant are living in the UK?

thank you again.

all applications should be sent to the address that's on the most recent checklist for that particular application. For the spousal application that would be to Sydney NS.

You may need to sort out your child's citizenship first, as I believe you have to submit that with the spousal application to show that the children need not be examined as a part of the spousal application as dependants.

The fact that you are even asking this question leads one to believe that you may have either outdated forms or that you have not read the full instructions properly. I strongly recommend that you check over the application again and reread all of the instructions, in order to avoid the application being returned to you as "incomplete"

That's good to know. Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't sure.

yes - i was unsure about that - but all i had to do was submit my receipt that I paid for her citizenship and it was in process. it needn't be complete.
