My friend who’s a Canadian Citizen sponsored his spouse (different country). Spousal application is now finished and her wife has received the ecopr etc all the stuff. She’s expecting to arrive to Toronto next week.

They are planning to travel to Calgary by plan from Toronto for few weeks next month. Would her wife be allowed to travel domestically? (Even though the actual physical PR card takes 2-3 months to get delivered home by mail). What IDs would she show at airport when travelling domestically from Toronto to Calgary?

Foreign passport will be fine, airlines don't enforce or even look at immigration status for domestic flights. Probably other IDs would work also but foreign passport - certainly. (Note, she still might want to travel with her eCOPR just in case, or an electronic version, but I can't come up with an actual reason why that would be needed).
