Question,
I am helping with an outland spousal sponsorship for a relative. The husband is Canadian and the wife is US citizen. They just moved back to Canada from the USA. They have one child from their marriage (who will have dual citizenship). I know that the advantage to Outland is that the applicant (wife) can travel freely between US and Canada. I was told that officially, she is not allowed to stay longer than 6 months at a time. Must she go back and forth between US and Canada, and how often? Should she say she is living in the USA and just visiting her husband and child when she crosses the border? Is she technically allowed to live with her husband and child here in Canada while her application is processed even though it is an outland application? Is it not obvious that she is living here with them if she is only crossing back into the USA once every 6 months?
Thanks in advance,
