Outland Spousal Sponsorship - Additional Document Request for Birth Certificate

[AWS2020]

Hi,
I am sponsoring my husband for PR through the outland spousal sponsorship. He is an Indian citizen residing in the USA.
We submitted the SSC certificate as a birth certificate with the initial package as he doesn't have a birth certificate in India. Now we received an ADR and have obtained a birth certificate from the Indian Consulate in the US.
My question is - should we write a letter providing an explanation for it and append it to the birth certificate or just upload the birth certificate to the MyCIC account.
If so, could you direct us to any templates for the LOE?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
