Outland(Pakistani Principal Applicant) Spouse Visa December 2022

Hello!
I am starting my spouse visa application as a principal applicant from Pakistan and I have 2 questions. I would truly appreciate it if anyone can guide me

1) Do I need a birth Certificate? I have the Nadra CRC also called B-From certificate but I never had the birth certificate probably my parents gave it to my first school. would the Nadra B-From/CRC certificate would be satisfactory for the application?

2) I studied and stayed in the UK for around 1.5 years and came back to Pakistan appx 5 years and 4 months ago. Do I need to get a Police Certificate from the UK?

Hi Zebi,

Please start with "IMM 5533 E : Document checklist Spouse". It has all the requirements mentioned.

1. They require Birth Certificate specifically (mentioned in IMM5533 page 6). B-form is just like a CNIC for children less than 18 years old, not sure if they would accept it. You can check with you union council office for birth certificate, they might have the record and can provide it.
2. Police certificate of any country where you spent 6 or more months in a row since the age of 18. (mentioned in IMM5533 page 7)

1) I did check with the union council and they said we have never seen anyone this old requesting their birth certificate they said go to Nadra and Nadra only has the CRC/B-form or the ID card record.

2) I also checked the country specific information where I entered UK in other countries where I have lived and it says no special instructions for documents for this country.

1. Yes you can check with Nadra if they can provide it.
2. That would mean that you don't need any other documents from UK, unlike Pakistan where you'd need to provide IMM 5536, IMM 5546 etc. But the police certificate is needed nonetheless for any country in which you stayed for over 6 months.
