Outland application ready except FBI check...Please advise

Hello, we are ready to send our application in. I am Canadian sponsoring my US wife. Everything is ready except the FBI check as she had to redo and resubmit her prints. They are saying it will take 6 more weeks,(they will come back clean). We want to land in Mid December, very important. The dilemma is, it is getting time sensitive according to posts I have read. Some say, send it, it will not delay, others say the 9 to 10 month turn over is based on a "complete package". Even though we will have the background check by March, if we send now so I can be sponsor approved, it won't be a "complete package" and even though I know they don't need it to approve me as a sponsor we are worried about a delay. Also, if we do send without the FBI check, where would we send the background check when we get it...Ottawa or Mississauga? And how do we make sure it gets to the right person and quickly added to our application package. Any help would be greatly appreciated as always!

Just send it in, absolutely no need to send the FBI checks with initially application. Sent it later when they request it.

It looks like you've been given `help' in your other thread, but...I guess you need more `help'.

Yes, send later, but seriously, DON'T be making plans in stone as to the date you want to be here.
Our simple application took almost 13 months from them receiving without any issues regarding the application. It was late in our case,US sponsorship, because of the strike last year, but anything can happen, so make a backup plan of landing dates, it's all about time, in the systems hands!
