Hey everyone,

Tomorrow is our big day in that we're sending off our Common Law application off. We've spent the past few months organizing our proof... We've got utility bills, our joint mortgage (which we've lived in for a year), pictures from throughout our relationship, bank statements from the joint bank accounts we have... I think we've got that part covered.

My question is, and I apologize if this has been asked before, is how do we put the package together? Do the Sponsor then immigration forms go together with all our proofs paper clipped underneath? How did you guys put your application package together. I don't know if we're just overthinking things at this point or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This forum has been a godsend for us.

Thanks!

Re: Outland Application Question - How do we put it together?

I'm curious about this too, so I hope you get an answer. Good luck!

Hi

The most common way is to separate it all into 3 sections:

- all sponsor forms and documents (Option C, birth cert or passport copy, fee receipt, etc.), in the order of the checklist with the barcodes on top
- all applicant forms and documents (passport copy, PCCs, medical receipt, etc.), in the order of the checklist with the barcodes on top
- relationship proof

Put each into it's own labelled envelope and then put all 3 envelopes into one big envelope.

Here's a few other threads on the topic.
