Hello, I applied to sponsor my wife Outland back in December 1rst 2021. A week before that, she had applied to TRV and got it approved on Dec 23rd 2021. We still haven't received the AOR for the sponsorship application. She came to Canada in January 2022 and is planning to return to her country in April to spend a 3 weeks there and then come back to Canada.
Do you think there would be a problem with that? Or do you recommend me to contact the CIC and change to Inland so she doesn't have leave?
We really need some orientation of what could happen, and what are the pros and cons.
I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE SOME ADVICE from you guys.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Hi,

Please check this thread.

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/spousal-sponsorship-final-phases-query.757773/

informing IRCC about your wife's current address is an option. Please enquire about the virtual landing procedure.

I am going to apply for my souse TRV. I do not have a sponsorship application in place , as we are waiting for the PCC document.

Could you please let me know what are the docs you included in your spouse's TRV application? such as her tie with home country, reason for visit etc.
Did you mention anything about sponsorship application?

Thank you Gowri. So she applied from the new IRCC Portal, and one of the options to choose when you start your TRV application is Family Reunification, so she chose that one as the main reason for visiting Canada. They asked for the normal Documents: her passport photo and my Canadian ID, marriage certificate, and for financial proof I made a notarized letter telling that I will take care of the expenses and stated the purpose of her visit, address and time of stay, you can find templates on internet. If you haven't applied for sponsorship, they know it's kind of obvious that at some point you will, so keep your letter simple and be honest in every question of the form. I also provided my bank statements from past four months, and she also provided a bank letter and a job letter.

Make sure to have the English certified translations for every document. I used Docsbase for the translations. And if she has had visas denied in the past, be honest, and state it in the form.

When she applied we had low hopes that she would get it, because we read several times that it was hard for a spouse to get a TRV.
But every case is different.

I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. I will follow it. I was worried that we will not get trv since we haven't applied for sponsorship . Now I have to atleast try for it. Let's see what happens. Thanks again
