I am so sorry if I posted this question here. It's just that I can't find anything online that can answer me.

I am applying for a US VISIT VISA (B2) in Calgary in July. My passport is still valid until March 2017. So I still have 8 months validity on my passport.

Do you think I would have a problem with it?

The original plan was to renew my passport first, but the Philippine Consulate in Calgary doesn't have the machines yet. so Darn! I am going to Calgary on the 13th. so I said, why not apply for a US visa since I will be in Calgary...

Now my only concern is that I might get denied since my passport is expiring. :(

Is there somebody here who has similar experience?

Most of countries including USA require at least 6 months before the passport expires, you still have 7 months, so they won't deny it based on that.
Good luck!!

There are several very active US immigration forums - you would get better answers posting your question there.

"Visitors traveling to the U.S. are required to be in possession of passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the U.S. See list of countries exempt from the six month requirement."
