Should my background not be in progress yet? Should I be concerned?
What do you mean by Digital Copy sent to CPCM? So your file was really transferred to CPCM? Just curious.

That is all I was told. I got aor2 may 24 confirming it had been sent to Ottawa. Emailed Ottawa and they said cpc Mississauga had it. Got my MP to look into it and they said Ottawa had sent a digital copy to Mississauga for further processing. That is all I know and all I will know until I get my notes which I ordered Friday

Apparently everything is in perfect order though and they said it's "normal for an app to be transferred around"

Anyone who was transferred to Ottawa waiting for background check to start?

Anyone who was originally transferred to Ottawa but then sent back to cpc m still waiting for background check to start?

Cool! Congrats. I think mine is taking a big longer. I have a dismissed dui in Delaware. Very similar to the person who started this thread. I think mine may take longer because of that.

My husband's file is at Ottawa since June 5, 2017. Been sitting at dm since August 10, I thought ppr would have taken a handful of days. Two weeks at the most.
Backlog or no backlog, patience is nil! From July 11 to August 10, felt fast. Now at a standstill.

Since DM you haven't called CIC yet? That's not normal. Your PPR could have been sent already. Have you checked your spam? Go to your MP and ask them to look at your file. Sometimes they send the PPR to an incorrect email address or they might have thought they did send it but didn't actually.

I been checking spam and I got the mp to call. Checked my cic, ecas. Multiple times a day
The mp said we had a bfd of September 15. I know those dates sometimes don't mean anything. What they said was there's a backlog. Mp is pretty useless.
Thank you I will fax perhaps. My husband not in Canada. Also we have a lawyer. So they don't always give me information. But Ottawa has been emailing us since June anyhow.
