Applied today for my passport at the Orleans office in Ottawa.
Got there about 15mns prior to opening and there was already about 20 people in line. However it went fairly quick and I was out by 9.20.
Meeting with the officer itself took about 15mns.
He said they will ship it to me on Nov. 21 and I should get it less than a week later.
Regular processing with no anticipated travel.

I'm in a similar situation except my ceremony is scheduled for Nov 29 and my kids and I have received an email invitation.
My wife's tracker shows background check "in progress" after being DM 4 months ago.
Has your wife received the invitation? I am not sure if she can join the ceremony.

In my online tracker, my Oath status has chaged to in progress on Oct 12 without any date mentioned for Oath. No emails as well for Oath.
I now see that the status changed to "Not started" again. Is there any reason for such changes? Any one else facing the same issue?
I have applied in Nov 2021 and completed my citizenship test in May 2022, all other status changed to Completed. Awaiting for Oath.

I am in the same situation for ceremony status with same dates.
I applied in December 2020, Test passed June 2021 and all field except ceremony are completed since January 2022 . Let’s keep positive it will be completed one day !!!
Guys, what is a typical wait time from bg check to test invitation for 2022 Ottawa applicants ? I know it is slower compared to others and no trend is visible from spreadsheet.

Mar Paper applicant received test invite today.

Good to see Ottawa applicant seeing progress.
Just received my passport!! That was very quick!! They originally told me to expect it next week. Says that it was issued on the 7th which is a business day after I applied. Applied at the Passport office in Orléans. Regular processing.
Congrats! Question: Does the passport get mailed to home or you have to go pick up at the passport office? If it's mailed, is it regular mail or passport holder needs to receive/sign it?
