You will certainly need things like the death certificate of parents. I would include them or you will be asked for them and it will delay the process.

Only the supporting documents on this list. No birth certificate yet nor death certificate for deceased parents.

You will need to prove that your parents are deceased so being proactive and submitting the death certificates will only speed up the process.

Just an update - I received my AOR dated Feb 18, application was received July 21.

I think that it is ok since everything started around September. From March to August everything was blocked.

My brother's application received Nov 18, 2020. As of now, I receive only the temporary file number.
Sponsor is single, no family in canada and both parents are deceased.

I got AOR today and a refund of the biometric fee ($85). I think it is because I am sponsoring a child.
Hopefully I get sponsor approval tomorrow, like you did.

No, nothing from my side even medical and PCC done since May 2021 and still not updated. So, at least yours is updated.

I had medical submitted and approved last summer. Now at eligibility check. It has been at least 6 months in the same place! Hopefully it concludes in the next 30 days.

You’ve applied under H&C which is a very different program. Not sure if you qualify for lonely Canadian program. Is your SIL married? Does she have children? Are her parents alive? Does she have other family in Canada?
