Document IMM 3910 E is a checklist of documents required for my application as spouse of a Canadian.

Item #4
"Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) - You and each of your family members 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form."

Is this all family members who are included in the application, or do I need my wife (who is my sponsor) plus my siblings and parents to complete this form? Bearing in mind none of them are applying to come to Canada.

and second question:

Item #13
"PHOTOS
Supply four (4) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in Appendix B: Photo Specifications."

I don't see a definition of "family" (immediate family? family members who are applying for PR?) - do I need to have my wife get the 4 photos taken, and do our minor children also need their photos taken? Since one of the forms also seems to want to know all about my parents and siblings, do I need to persuade all of them to go get these photos taken too? That seems a little overboard if so. I am the only person in this scenario applying for PR after all, my wife and our children already being Canadian citizens.

1 - family members are ONLY those listed in the application, seeking PR. For application purposes, your wife is not your "spouse", she is your SPONSOR. since your sponsor wife, siblings and parents are not applying for PR, they do NOT fill out a form. However, they and your wife MUST be listed on YOUR form. this is what CIC will use to determine future sponsorship eligibility, if the time ever comes.

2 - your wife is technically not your "spouse", she is your sponsor, ONLY you need to provide photos. these are what will be used to issue your approval paper and PR card.
