Original translation

Hi guys,
I'm a bit confused. Do I have to send the original translation or a copy of it?

It says to never send originals unless it specifically says so, and I know we should send certified copies of the original document in a foreign language, but I'm not sure about the translation itself.
Should I send the original or a certified copy of it?

Or because it is already in English, I can send just the copy, without certifying it?

Just to make it more clear: I meant for documents that are not in English, like birth certificate or insurance beneficiary in my case.
