Seniors, please advise on this point, where CHC New Delhi checklist says that original Transcripts from university are required.
Whereas, getting my degree itself from university was a pain, which took 3 years of lingering timelines. In this event, is it fine if i submit only the notarized copy of the Degrees. My 120 days deadline is also about to finish. I submitted my documents before 26th June 2010. Please advise likewise.

Applicants have been getting visas without filing the academic transcripts in sealed envelops.

It usually take 1-2 weeks to get academic transcripts. Which is your university?

even I sent notarized photocopy of my transcript. I didn't send the original one in university's sealed envelop. Now I'm a bit tense .

Mine is Agra University and its really a horror for me. I literally had to beg them for my degree.
Can only think of sending the notarized photocopies of the degrees.

Please advise.

Its easy you need to go the university Registrar and submit your application . provide the original copy of your mark-list and copies . they will put a original transcripts seal on the copies .

If you can't go personally send some body with an authorization letter.

Seniors...any other alternative other than transcripts from university.
try to send it in sealed envelop as it is asked

Hi Seniors,

I could arrange the original transcripts for the Post graduation, but the university from which i graduated is not responding.
I don't think so that further i would be contacting them for the transcripts. Could you please suggest, how should i reflect this in my documents. Shall i write a letter to the CHC, explaining them the same.

Regards

Here is my humble opinion....Canada is aware of the fact that are different situations, different cases, and each country together with its educational system has its own rules; therefore, in my country, for example, nobody gives you the original transcript. There is issued only one transcript with the credits and the grades after the graduation. Only in case you deteriorate or you lose it, the university will issue a duplicate. So, it depends from country to country. In this case, the applicant can make a notarized copy which will be placed into a sealed envelope by the university. That is how it works in my country, and I cannot change the law just because I apply for permanent residence in Canada. I assume that they want to see that the documents are genuine. Hope it helps.

Hi all.
I believe you have to send Original university transcripts which should be in a sealed envelope.
I have done it in that way.
