Original Trancripts of all degrees-what is trancripts

Dear All,

I actually send the Notarized copies of all my certificates including degree and professional certificates. But didnot send any Original Transcription...Can anybody help me to understand what is it and how it is taken?

Transcript is just another type of mark-sheet. I went to my college and gave them an application and submitted the required fees. After 1 week they gave me my transcript. It is a piece of paper that hows the marks you attained in each year in each subject. the marks you got in your practices/viva and mine also showed how many hours in each semester i devoted to my practical and to theory each.

1 transcript for all 8 semesters.

Take an envelop from the college or university and seal it in that and get it stamped on the lid of the envelop and write to the "CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION"....that's it...!!!

I actually did it all by hand so told you step by step...

Your college or university will know the procedure........just tell them you need a Transcript ..!!!!

Same as aybee, I went to my university and requested for my transcript. I mentioned that it was for Canadian Immigration purposes. After they had printed off my transcript, I saw from the window that they used a dry seal on the document, then placed it in a university envelope.

They sealed the envelope with a special stamp that includes the name of the university, my name, the date and the signing authority, who also affixed his signature on the envelope flap after it was sealed.

I requested for 2 of these university-sealed envelopes, just in case I need an extra I understand that the same document can be used when applying for masters, etc.

With the amount of transcripts they receive every year, they would know if the document was properly sealed by the university or not.

i want to know transcripts and degrees both can be send in a uni. sealed envelop. i m asking this because uni. people told me to do like that.

No. You do not need to send the original mark-sheets. You only need to send their notarized copies. You only need to send the original transcript in a university sealed envelop.

just take this as a rule. Do not put IF's or BUT's in it. Why risk your case.

You HAVE to send their notarized copies of mark-sheets & you need to send the original transcript in a university sealed envelop.

They did return all my originals as i will need them in future .. !!
