My wife is preparing her citizenship application and one item on the checklist is to include the original police certificates where she was present for more than 183 days in the last 4 years.
She landed in Canada at the start of 2015 as a PR and has stayed in Canada the whole time.
Before this she was in her home country (the 4th year) waiting for the PR paperwork to go through during which time we also needed to get a police check and ensure it is translated, etc.. we still have this document.
Can we use this same police check for the citizenship application (given that it is 4 years old now this won't be an issue)?
It also sounds like (based on the check list links) that we won't need to get a Canadian police check for her (unless they ask for it during the process)?
Just wanted to run these questions by for some validation before we submit the application![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Thanks for your help.
