Original educational documents

Hi all,

I am a software engineer and wish to apply for PR. Currently I am in Canada on work permit. I have with me all the original documents and mark sheets. But I don't have transcripts. Will originals work anyhow as won't be going back India soon and don't have any relatives in my native city who can help.
Please guide how to go ahead with this.

You need to give more information about your education.

Since your education is outside Canada, you will need to get the degrees evaluated. This will require asking your educational institutions to send sealed and original certificates and transcripts to the evaluation agency. The certificates you have are not sufficient.

If that's the only way, will I have to courier my original documents to somebody in my country and ask that person to personally visit the university

you can ask your university to send them themselves. never courier your original documents. your university will create a copy of your transcript and put it in a sealed envelope. if the university doesn't want to send them themselves have a friend or family member pick up the envelope and mail it to wes. Make sure they write the reference nuber on the back and to not open the envelope
