I submitted my application for a Selection Certificate under the Quebec category to the Paris office in December 2009. Received letter of acknowledgement in January 2010.

In April 2010, I received a letter requesting additional documents which were submitted early May 2010.

I have not heard from them since then. I urgently need advise on two points:
1. I do require information on the situation of my file and also
2. I do need some of the original documents submitted with my application

Please advise

What i can suggest is call at teh CIC number as below

00-1-613-9444-000

On getting connected
press option 1
Then 2
Then 1
Then 2
Then 1 or hold for the operator

Once you get through to an agent ask him about your application status and the way of requestiing documents back

They really help and are very good all you need to do is to call at Montreal time from 9-5 and shoudl be ready to hold for long period i called them myself thrice and every time the call was answered within 20 minutes.
So give it a try and you shall really get replies on both your issues

The quoted no. is for the Federal Call Centre, the OP needs to contact MICC http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/index.html

hi!

we too have the same prob. we have just sent the pack for the initial stage. but wondering about getting the originals back after 2nd stage (that is if we come to that....)
was searching this forum for anyone who were able to get the originals back. look forwafrd to hear of any progress with u.
