Oracle EBS R12 | Oracle Apps DBA Job Opportunities

Hi Friends,

I am planing to migrate to Canada and I have been working with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.0, R12.1 and R12,2 which includes installation, upgrade, patching, performance tuning and also worked with different Oracle Database versions using advanced technologies like RAC, Data Guard on different platforms. I possess nearly two years of work experience in both database and Application DB environment. In addition, I have implemented and supported several Medium – Large scale organization which includes both Government and Private owned companies.

Please help me to understand job opportunities in Canada in Oracle Apps DBA scheme. Feel free to do a comment here, ;D

Hi Harithaprbth,

Seems you have DBA experience only. There are chances than you will get a good job but In canada Software market is very small so Don't expect too much. I would believe that if you can get some Developer experience(ERP) than you will get job easily because DBA jobs are always less in any market and it is most probably permanent jobs always.

I have seen the market and would say here jobs are more in MS SQL SERVER side for DBA and developer.
