After 4 long years I am back on this forum
I am an international PhD student and I am going to finish my PhD in a few months. I guess I will get a PGWP eventually. Now, along with a Canadian citizen, I wish to incorporate our startup soon. It will be in computer engineering domain. My question is what are my options to become a permanent citizen? I am in Quebec and our company may be a Canada Inc. or a Quebec Inc. Can I incorporate as a partner or I need to be an Employee? Will I need a LMIA or something like that for becoming a PR?
I don't know French so well but I can learn it if CSQ is the only way. Also, if I stay in Ontario but the company is in Quebec, what would be my options?
