Thank you so much .

Apart from her mom and Dad and 4 siblings and the enrolment in university. That would be her only ties to Philippines. In your experience would that be enough to satisfy Imigration.

I know there is no guarantee and its based on the individual officer.

Thanks in advance your help has been great.
It's better than nothing. The more ties she has to her home country, the better her chances are in getting a visitor visa. It still might not work, there never is a guarantee that it will, but it's better than nothing.

Proof of enrollment in school is good evidence she will return. Get her to actually enroll, and pay for classes that will start after her expected date of return. That will be more convincing.
Not to be a killjoy, but this didn't work for us.. he had a return ticket AND we both had employment contracts from our company overseas for 3 months later, plus ownership of a small business. It just wasn't enough for them. School is always a good idea, but I wouldn't bank on it helping very much. They really seem to take a look at what socio-economic class you come from. By all means apply for a visitor's visa.. they can always be helpful later in proving your relationship even if the visitor's visa is denied. You have to try.

Thanks for the input Steph.

I guess it wont hurt and its something she wants to do is to finish her university course so its all good. I think if people have the ties to there country that is expected from them. Why would they want to leave even for a vacation. yea sarcasm lol

Thanks again

@STEAKY, damn true I have heard of lawyers who have messed up peoples' paperwork. And when you go seek their service they make you believe they know the process in and out and if you do it yourself you are not going to be successful. One told me that I cant read whats on CIC website and complete the docs myself because the immigration law is over 5000 pages. And because I was out status when I sent my application in he told me that I'd have to pay him 1500$ to apply for status for me because i wasnt even qualified for restoration of status. I just sent in an OWP application hoping that I can get a work permit by time I am assessed for first stage. Thats what they advised me to do when I called the call centre
