I see every case is different and every case has different options. Here is my case step by step/
I am Canadian Citizen.
My Girlfriend is in Philipines. We have been Talking online for 6 months and we want to take this relationship to the next level. "I know this is considered a short time"
I own a small business here in BC Canada. A small family grocery store but without the family.
I would like to bring her here on a temporary visa and marry her here and apply for spousal visa inland and just wait for that prosess. I understand she can stay here untill that is approved or denied.
Problem with that is I dont know if she will qualify for temp visitor visa due to her ties in Philippines. No Job Just family there.
My other choice is to go to Philippines and Marry her there then apply for her to come here as a spouse.
However the time to get that approved or denied is so long to be apart and she would never be able to visit untill aproved or denied.
I am not worried about her having a work visa as she dosnt need to work while she is here I can support her.
Can a imigration Lawyer speed this prosess up?
Do we need to go thru the expense of maybe a study visa? She is 29 y/o no kids never married.
Any help would be appreciated.
Next Option Is to sell up here my business vehicals etc and move to the Philippnes and start a business there.
Thanks
Wish us luck
