Option C Tax Year Question

Hi Everyone!

My fiance, who is sponsoring me for Common Law Partner, and I will finally be mailing our application after a long time of waiting! Would have been a lot sooner had the FBI not taken ages to get my PC, haha.

We'll be filing outland, Ottawa CPC.

I just had a question in regards to the Option C.

We filed our taxes for 2014 last week. We have my Fiance's Option C printouts for 2012 and 2013.

Does anyone know if we supply the 2012 and 2013 option Cs if they will be acceptable? My fiance had no income for the last year, and I plan to include my 2014 T4 as part of our application anyway. Was hoping for an answer so we've no reason to delay the application any longer than it needs to be; as I just did my meds two weeks ago and got the PC in the mail last week.

yes, it is ok to send the 2013, since technically 2014 taxes aren't due yet. it's not necessary to send 2 forms, just the most recent that's available.

I had a feeling there'd be some leniency but I didn't want to unnecessarily risk the application. We'll be sending the 2012 one anyway though, can't hurt
